My Approach 

Integrative Somatic Healing Rooted in Science, Spirit & Ancestral Wisdom

Coming home to yourself requires more than understanding your story. It requires learning to feel safe, supported, and at ease inside your body. My approach blends multiple healing traditions and evidence-based modalities into a gentle, culturally-rooted, trauma-aware practice that meets you exactly where you are.

I call this work Integrative Somatic Healing — a whole-body, whole-self path to presence, groundedness, and liberation.

What It Means to Be an Integrative Somatic Practitioner

As an Integrative Somatic Practitioner, I draw from several disciplines that each support a different layer of the healing process:

  • Your nervous system
     

  • Your emotional landscape
     

  • Your physical body and fascia
     

  • Your cultural and ancestral identity
     

  • Your inner child and protective parts
     

  • Your capacity for joy, pleasure, boundaries, and rest
     

 

Rather than using just one method, I weave together approaches that support the full spectrum of your lived experience:  psychological, somatic, ancestral, relational, and spiritual.

Integration means:

  • You don’t have to choose between talk-based support and body-based healing.
     

  • You don’t have to force your body to open before it’s ready.
     

  • You don’t have to abandon your culture, your story, or your unique identity to heal.

Key elements of my coaching practice include:

Resourcing and Grounding

Building a sense of safety by anchoring in the present moment and accessing internal and external resources.

Boundary Setting

Cultivating the skills to establish and maintain healthy boundaries that honor one’s needs and values.

Self-Regulation

Developing techniques to calm and soothe oneself during times of stress or overwhelm.

Mindful Movement

Using practices like yoga, breathwork, and guided meditation to release tension and deepen connection to the body.

Co-Regulation

Exploring how connection with others can foster feelings of safety and emotional balance.

Myofascial Stretch

Bodywork that focuses on releasing tension and trauma from the body's connective tissue.

Modalities Used

Somatic Experiencing® (SE)

Healing through the nervous system

Somatic Experiencing® is a body-based, trauma-informed approach that helps you gently release stress, overwhelm, and protective patterns stored in the nervous system.

Through slow tracking of sensation, grounding, breath, and micro-movements, SE helps you:

  • Come out of fight, flight, or freeze
     

  • Build capacity for difficult emotions
     

  • Reduce anxiety, shutdown, or chronic tension
     

Feel more present, safe, and available in your life.

Trauma Recovery Coaching

Compassionate, empowering support for your healing journey

Trauma Recovery Coaching focuses on:

  • Understanding survival patterns
     

  • Rebuilding self-trust
     

  • Navigating triggers
     

  • Strengthening boundaries
     

  • Creating emotional safety
     

  • Moving from survival mode to intentional living
     

Unlike therapy, coaching does not diagnose or treat mental health conditions. Instead, I support you in building skills, resilience, and clarity with a grounded, relational presence.

Trauma Recovery Coaching gives you tools to navigate life with more steadiness and agency.

Myofascial Release & Stretch Therapy

Haitian Ralé (Spirit & Energetic Clearing

Supporting the body where it holds memory, tension, and emotion

Your fascia — the connective tissue that wraps your entire body — stores experiences, stress, and protective patterns.

 

Through intuitive, gentle hands-on techniques and guided movement, we:

  • Release tension and holding patterns
     

  • Support emotional release
     

  • Improve mobility and circulation
     

  • Soften chronic guarding in the chest, hips, pelvis, jaw, and shoulders
     

  • Create space for deeper breath, rest, and self-connection
     

Many clients say, “I didn’t know how tired or tight I was until I felt myself relax.”

A sacred ancestral practice rooted in Haitian healing traditions

Ralé is a gentle, ancestral method of:

  • Moving stuck emotional or energetic residue
     

  • Clearing heaviness or spiritual congestion
     

  • Restoring vitality and flow
     

  • Inviting grounding, clarity, and spiritual alignment
     

This practice honors my Haitian lineage and the cultural traditions that shaped how I understand the body, spirit, and healing. Ralé is not forceful; it is rhythmic, intuitive, and deeply respectful.

Clients often describe it as:

  • Ancestral grounding or Rale (as intuitively needed)
