My Approach 

Somatic Leadership Rooted in Science, Spirit, & Ancestral Wisdom

Coming home to yourself takes more than understanding your story. It requires the practiced ability to stay in relationship with your body—especially under pressure—so you can make clean decisions, hold boundaries, repair rupture, and live with integrity.  

 

My approach blends multiple healing traditions and evidence-based modalities into a gentle, culturally-rooted, trauma-aware practice that meets you exactly where you are.

I call this work Integrative Somatic Leadership — a whole-body, whole-self path to presence, capacity, and liberation.

What It Means to work with me

As an Integrative Somatic Practitioner, I draw from several disciplines to support different layers of capacity-building:

  • Your nervous system
     

  • Your emotional landscape
     

  • Your physical body and fascia
     

  • Your cultural and ancestral identity
     

  • Your inner child and protective parts
     

  • Your capacity for joy, pleasure, boundaries, and rest
     

 

Rather than using just one method, I weave together approaches that support the full spectrum of your lived experience:  psychological, somatic, ancestral, relational, and spiritual.

Integration means:

  • You don’t have to choose between insight-based support and body-based practice.
     

  • You don’t have to force your body to open before it’s ready.
     

  • You don’t have to abandon your culture, your story, or your unique identity to grow.

Building skills to soothe, settle, and widen your window of tolerance during stress or overwhelm.

 Movement & Breath

Using gentle movement, breathwork, and guided practices to release tension and deepen body connection.

Co-Regulation

Exploring how safe connection supports stability, repair, and emotional balance.

Myofascial Stretch

Hands-on work (with explicit consent) that supports release, mobility, and deeper breath.

Nervous system-led integration

Somatic Experiencing® is a body-based, trauma-informed approach that helps you gently release stress and protective patterning held in the nervous system.

Through slow tracking of sensation, grounding, breath, and micro-movements, SE helps you:

  • Build capacity for intensity without flooding or shutdown

  • Reduce chronic tension, anxiety, or numbness

  • Strengthen boundaries, repair, and relational integrity 

  • Move from survival-based urgency into paced, values-aligned action

This Coaching supports you to:

  • Recognize protective patterns and the needs beneath them

  • Rebuilding self-trust through consistent embodied practice

  • Strengthen boundaries, repair, and relational integrity

Haitian Ralé (Energetic Clearing)

Supporting the body where it holds tension, memory, and emotion

Your fascia is the connective tissue that wraps the body and often reflects holding patterns shaped by stress, posture, and lived experience.

 

Through intuitive, gentle hands-on techniques and guided movement, we may:

  • Release chronic guarding (chest, hips, pelvis, jaw, shoulders)

  • Support breath, mobility, circulation, and softness

  • Create space for deeper rest and self-connection

Many clients say, “I didn’t know how tired or tight I was until I felt myself relax.”

Ancestral grounding and spiritual alignment

Ralé is a gentle facial stretch and release practice rooted in Haitian healing traditions.

 

It supports:
 

  • Clearing heaviness from the body
     

  • Restoring vitality and flow
     

  • Inviting grounding, clarity, and alignment
     

This practice honors my Haitian lineage and the cultural traditions that shaped how I understand the body, spirit, and healing. Ralé is rhythmic, intuitive, and deeply respectful.

Clients often describe it as:

“A cleansing that feels like my body remembers something ancient and true.”

  • Guided movement, breathwork,  or release practices
     

  • Myofascial or intuitive touch (if in person and explicitly consented to)
